Client's Vision:
The client wanted a Christmas celebration that felt fresh, fun, and genuinely engaging — not just another predictable end-of-year dinner. With a hybrid team spread across Switzerland and Germany, their goal was to bring everyone together for an experience that sparked connection, excitement, and shared memories. They were looking for something unique, interactive, and authentically enjoyable for all personalities — sporty or not.

My Approach:
Swiss Life Arena offered the perfect playground: an impressive, modern stadium filled with unexpected possibilities, from behind-the-scenes tours to on-ice activities, premium hospitality spaces, and top-tier food & beverage options.

To create the ideal mix of action, “sightseeing,” and connection, I designed a multi-part experience that unfolded naturally throughout the evening:

A private stadium tour gave the team an insider look at the home of the ZSC Lions, full of surprising facts, impressive architecture, and a peek behind the scenes.
A friendly ice hockey game followed, held on the very field where the professionals play. Most attendees had never put on skates before, which led to lots of laughter, team spirit, and memorable moments on the ice.
Post-game cocktails let the group relax and warm up while watching the ZSC Women’s Team play. A highlight that left everyone inspired and deeply impressed by the athletes’ skill and energy.
The evening concluded with a festive seated dinner in one of the arena’s elegant banquet rooms, offering space for conversation, connection, and celebration.

Additionally, I coordinated travel and hotel arrangements for the team members arriving from Germany to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.

Memorable Moments:

Playing a friendly match on the same ice used by the professional teams
Spontaneous laughter and team bonding as first-time skaters found their balance
Watching the ZSC Women’s Team compete, a moment the group particularly loved
Discovering the stadium’s behind-the-scenes world during the private tour

Outcome:
The event was a complete success: lively, unexpected, and perfectly tailored to the team’s desire for something different. The client and participants all expressed how much fun they had, how unique the programme felt, and how much they enjoyed everything from the ice activities to the professional women's match. It brought the hybrid team closer together, created genuine shared experiences, and delivered exactly the kind of memorable end-of-year celebration they were hoping for.
